Today is a review of Harry Potter World UK and if it is worth the money.
As you know from being a loyal reader and a subscriber (hint, hint) then you know I am a home-educating mum.
My oldest is mad about Harry Potter and was desperate to visit Harry Potter World. The tickets are very pricey at £53.50 per person.
So I decided I would get a home-educating group together. Doing so would bring down the price and allow more people a chance to experience Harry Potter World.

The staff at Harry Potter World UK
Harry Potter World was an absolutely magical experience from start to finish.
Organising a group booking was seamless, thanks to the amazing and helpful staff. They helped me every step of the way, nothing was too much trouble.
Every time I rang up or emailed with a query I got polite, quick responses.
Their professionalism and friendliness made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
Getting there
Finding Harry Potter World was easy, with clear signage leading us right to the location.
Parking on-site was convenient and lots of spaces were available. We went on a Wednesday in July.
Despite it being mid-week, it was still busy but not too busy that you couldn’t move or park. I wouldn’t dream of going on a weekend.
Inside Harry Potter World
As soon as we entered, we were struck by the sheer size and scale of the place. It truly is a huge, immersive world filled with wonder and enchantment at every turn.
We began our journey through the magical realms of Harry Potter. It quickly became clear that you need to allow yourself at least 4 hours to fully appreciate everything on offer.
From walking through the iconic Great Hall to exploring Diagon Alley, and stepping into the Forbidden Forest.
Every exhibit was mind-blowingly detailed. It brought the beloved books and films to life in an unforgettable way.
The interactive elements, such as short talks on how they made the night bus and the green screen broomstick rides, were a big hit with our group.
I personally am not a huge fan of Harry Potter. But I have a new respect and understanding of what has gone into creating the films.
I feel there are no words to describe how incredible this place really is.
We got a free picture per child of them riding their broomstick. Other pictures and videos were at a lower cost.
The girls were happy to just have their free broomstick pictures.
All the staff throughout the experience were knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about sharing the magic of Harry Potter. This only added to the wonder and excitement of our visit.
I really could not fault the staff.
Amenities at Harry Potter World UK
I have a real dislike for public toilets. That being said the toilets at Harry Potter World were clean. They had toilets available all around the tour.
There was always someone hoovering or clearing up all through the experience.
Halfway around the tour, there is a cafe with a large seating. This is where you can buy Butterbeer.
The shop was a maze, they really didn’t want you to leave without buying something. Fortunately for us, I had my in-laws with us who spoilt both my children with a gift.
Bee's Final Thoughts
My final thought about Harry Potter World is that it is a must-visit destination for any fan of the series.
Our home education group left with a treasure trove of memories. Not to mention a deeper appreciation for the wizarding world.
It really did make fan’s dreams come true.
So, to answer my question, Is Harry Potter World UK really worth the money?
Absolutely!
Highly recommended for groups and individuals alike!
