Declutter Your Goals
Take a step back and think about where you’re headed.
This is hard because we have commitments, families and bills to pay. Shaking things up can feel like a huge risk.
But first, ask yourself these questions and then see if money is more important than being happy to you.
Are you still on the path that excites you? As you are reading this, probably not.
Have you been following a plan that no longer fits who you are?
Write down your career goals and decide what still makes sense.
If something feels outdated or uninspiring, it’s time to let it go!
Polish Up Your CV and LinkedIn
Your CV and LinkedIn profile are like your career’s front garden.
You want them to look their best! Just as when you put your house up for sale or you look at houses for sale. You are drawn to the ones that look good, right?
Update your work experience and highlight new skills.
Make sure your profile picture is recent and professional.
Even if you’re not job hunting right now, it’s always good to be prepared for new opportunities.
Clean Out Bad Work Habits
We all have work habits that slow us down. Maybe it’s procrastination, checking your phone too often, or saying “yes” to too many things.
Identify what’s holding you back and make small changes.
Make notes of tasks you want to achieve that day, don’t make them too big that they are not achievable though.
Even something as simple as organising your email inbox can help you feel more in control.
Freshen Up Your Skills
Learning something new is like opening a window and letting fresh air in!
Take a course, read a book, or ask a mentor for advice.
Keeping your skills up to date makes you more valuable in your field and helps you stay excited about your work.
There are tons of free courses out there you can attend in your own time.
Set New Career Intentions
Think about how you want to feel at work.
Do you want more creativity?
A better work-life balance?
A leadership role?
Set intentions that work with your happiness and success.
When you’re clear about what you want, it’s easier to take steps toward it.

Take Care of Yourself
A refreshed career starts with a refreshed YOU.
Get enough sleep, take breaks, and make time for activities you love.
When you feel good, you perform better and that’s a win for your career and your well-being!
Spring is all about new beginnings, and your career deserves a fresh start too.
We spend so many of our years working, it might as well be something we enjoy, don’t you think?
So, grab a metaphorical broom, sweep away what’s not working, and make space for exciting new possibilities.
You got this!
