1. Switch to a Lighter Moisturiser
During winter, thick creams help protect skin from the cold, dry air. But in spring, your skin needs something lighter.
Try using a water-based or gel moisturiser. This will keep your skin hydrated without feeling greasy.
2. Don’t Skip SunCream
Warmer weather means more time outdoors!
Even if it’s cloudy, the sun’s UV rays can damage your skin.
I always aim to purchase a day cream with an SPF in. If not use an SPF first then add your moisturiser or mix both together.
Apply an SPF 30 (or higher) every day to protect against sunburn, wrinkles, and dark spots.

3. Exfoliating for a Fresh Start
Winter can leave your skin feeling dull and dry.
Gently exfoliate 2-3 times a week.
Everyone’s skin is different, so work with what your skin wants and can tolerate.
This helps remove dead skin cells and brightens your complexion. Just be sure not to overdo it, your skin still needs its natural oils!
4. Stay Hydrated
Drinking enough water is key to keeping your skin soft and glowing.
Spring air can sometimes be unpredictable. So keeping your body hydrated helps your skin stay healthy from the inside out.

5. Add Antioxidants to Your Routine
Spring is the perfect time to introduce antioxidants. Vitamin C is great to add to your skincare routine.
Vitamin C helps brighten skin, fight sun damage, and even out your skin tone.
Look for serums or moisturisers with this amazing ingredient.
6. Keep Your Makeup Light
Heavy foundations can feel too thick as temperatures rise.
Try switching to a tinted moisturiser or BB cream for a natural, breathable look.

7. Clean Your Makeup Brushes
With the new season, it’s a great time to give your makeup tools a deep clean.
Dirty brushes can trap bacteria and lead to breakouts. So washing them regularly keeps your skin clear and fresh.
