What Makes a Day Trip “Easy” for Busy Mums?

I love day trips because you don’t have to jump on a plane to have the best time.

No overnight stays in uncomfortable beds whilst packing the kitchen sink, only to find you still forgot something. Unless you really want to, of course.

You can choose your own timings, come and go as you please.

Create a day trip that is as relaxed or adventurous as you like, and my favourite part? Eating what you like when you like.

Things I like to think about when planning a day trip to make it as easy as possible for all of us are:

Quick checklist:

  • Parking available

  • Toilets & café on site

  • Space for kids to run

  • Buggy-friendly where possible

So I started Bees Organised Hive to help mums like us feel more prepared, more confident, and far less stressed when planning family adventures.
